µVISION DEBUGGER: CAN'T DEBUG CHIPCON DEVICES

QUESTION

I'm using a ChipCon CC1010 Development Kit. The debugger stopped communicating after I upgraded the evaluation version of µVision to a full version. How do I fix this?

ANSWER

The ChipCon CC1010 requires a special debug driver. The reference to it was lost when the full version installed. To restore the reference to the ChipCon CC1010 In-System Debugger driver, re-install the ChipCon CC1010IDE software. Then re-select Chipcon CC1010 In-System Debugger driver in Options for Target — Debug Tab — Use: section in your project.
