µVISION: WHAT DOES THE CONFIGURATION WIZARD DO?

Information in this article applies to:

  • µVision Version 3.00

QUESTION

What is the Configuration Wizard? What does it do?

ANSWER

The Configuration Wizard is a recently added feature for µVision. It enables menu driven configuration of assembler, C or debugger initialization files. The Configuration Wizard uses control items that are embedded into the comments of the configuration file to build these menus.

The MDK-ARM tools use script files extensively and these menus give the user an easy way to display and modify settings the script and initialization files.
