SYMPTOMWhen I try to program the flash of my LPC2000 device via the ULINK USB-JTAG Adapter, I receive a message "Flash Download failed" or "Flash Time Out". CAUSEEarly versions of the Flash Algorithms for the LPC2000 did not configure the PLL but were relying on the fact that the XTAL frequency is identical to the CPU clock. RESOLUTIONThe problem is corrected in CARM V1.2a Using the new algorithms, ULINK provides high speed Flash programming for Philips LPC2100 device series with a download rate of up to 16 Kbytes per second.
