Product Information | µVISION: FIND FUNCTION FAILS WHEN SWITCHING SOURCE FILESInformation in this article applies to:
QUESTIONWhen I use the Find function (Ctrl-F) to locate text and then switch to a different source file, if I try to use the same Find dialog to search for text in the new source file, the Find doesn't appear to work. What's wrong? ANSWERThis is a known problem with Find. The easiest way to work around this is to close the Find dialog box (by pressing the Esc key) when you switch source files. Then, call up the Find function again (using Ctrl-F) and press the Down Arrow key to restore the search string. The Find will then work properly. µVision Version 3 corrects this problem. You may download µVision Version 3 for the C166 from the Keil Website. µVision Version 3 for the C51 will be available later in the year. MORE INFORMATION
