µVISION: MS VISUAL SOURCE SAFE DOES NOT WORK

QUESTION
I want to integrate Microsoft Visual SourceSafe Version 6 into µVision. I used the template Microsoft Visual SourceSafe.SVCS. If I execute one of the commands, a command window pops up and hangs.
ANSWER
The template file Microsoft Visual SourceSafe.SVCS works for Visual SourceSafe Version 5 (and has been renamed Microsoft Visual SourceSafe5.SVCS).
Support for Microsoft Visual SourceSafe Version 6 requires µVision Version 2.39 or higher (which comes with C51 Version 7.07 and C166 Version 4.28). For Microsoft Visual SourceSafe Version 6 use the template file Microsoft Visual SourceSafe6.SVCS.
