C51: LOG AND POW FUNCTION PROBLEMS

SYMPTOMS

I sometimes have trouble getting the correct results from the log() and pow() library routines in C51 Version 5.10. Are there problems with these functions?

CAUSE

In C51 V5.10 these library routines may cause problems if they cross a 2K (AJMP) boundary.

RESOLUTION

Updated libraries are available to correct these problems. To install the new library files, unzip the *.lib files and copy them into the \C51\LIB\ folder.
