C166: C153 WARNING APPEARS USING C166 V4.24

QUESTION

I updated my C166 V4.23 to V4.24 and now I get a warning in a project that didn't show any warnings under C166 V4.23. Here's the warning description:

warning C153 ' parameter 1': different spaced pointer (sdata,huge)

Since I didn't receive this warning before using C166 V4.24, what could be causing it?

ANSWER

It's a problem in the C166 compiler.

STATUS

This problem is resolved in the C166 V4.25 update.
