µVISION DEBUGGER: DS80C400 CONTIGUOUS MODE DOES NOT WORK

QUESTION

I have a program that works perfectly with Dallas DS390 in contiguous mode. When I change the target chip to Dallas DS80C400, keeping the same settings, the program should still work since DS390 and DS400 are comparable, but the contiguous mode is not working properly over DS400. What could be wrong?

ANSWER

This is a device database problem that has been resolved in C51 Version 7.04. You may download the latest updates from the Keil Website.
