ULINK: WRONG DRIVERS

QUESTION

I have a ULINK and I have installed the C166 V4.24 tools. However, I can't get the µVision Debugger to recognize the ULINK in the Debug Settings Dialog.

ANSWER

Some earlier versions of the C166 tools installed an obsolete ULINK driver. You must reinstall the ULINK (as described in ULINK: DRIVER PROBLEM GIVES NO USB DEVICE FOUND) and re-install. Be certain that you remove files named Keil-JTAG.inf and Keil-JTAG.pnf from the /WINNT/INF folder.
