µVISION: DOCKING WINDOW STYLE

QUESTION

I'm using µVision Version 2 with a small screen and the docking window system of µVision consumes most of my screen space. Is it possible to move the Project Window or the Output Window into the standard workspace of µVision?

ANSWER

Yes. You may move any docking window of µVision into the workspace by using the Context Menu commands. Right-click on the window border (the double line) to open the Context Menu. The Context Menu opens and presents the following commands:

• Allow Docking. When this option is enabled (default), the window docks onto the screen borders. When disabled, the window may be moved to any screen location.
• Float in Main Window. When this options is disabled (default), the window can be moved to any position on the screen. When this option is enabled, the window behaves like an editor window and cannot be moved over other docked windows. When View - Workbook Mode is enabled, the window can be quickly sected using the tabs on bottom of the main window.
