µVISION DEBUGGER: USING THIRD-PARTY PLUG-INS

Information in this article applies to:

  • µVision Version 2.20

QUESTION

I'm new to the Keil µVision debugger and I know that it interfaces to third party hardware like Triscend, Cyngal, Cypress or Emulator vendors like Ceibo, iSystem, or Hitex. However, I cannot get this solution to work. What can be wrong?

ANSWER

Make sure that you first install the Keil µVision package. Then install the third party debugger plug-in. If you have used a Keil evaluation version first and if you have upgraded this to the full release, you must re-install the third party debugger plug-in.
