ISD51: USE IN ASSEMBLER PROGRAMS

Information in this article applies to:

  • ISD51 Version 1.00

QUESTION

I work with assembler language only and would like to use the ISD51. However, I get unresolved external symbols during linking. Is it possible to use ISD51 when I just use assembly programming?

ANSWER

ISD51 is designed to be used with C programs and, as such, is only provided with the PK51 Professional Developers Kit.

Nonetheless, it is possible to use ISD51 with assembler programs. To do so, you must manually add the C51 Run-Time Library C51S.LIB to your project.
