LX51: ERROR L127 (UNRESOLVED EXTERNAL SYMBOL ?C?CILDPTR)

SYMPTOMS

When I build my C progran for the Philips 51MX using the Keil CX51 Compiler and LX51 linker. I receive the following error message from the linker:

*** ERROR L127: UNRESOLVED EXTERNAL SYMBOL
    SYMBOL:  ?C?CILDPTR
    MODULE:  timfunc.obj (TIMFUNC)

CAUSE

The large model libraries shipped with C51 V6.20 did not include the ?C?CILDPTR routine.

RESOLUTION

This problem is corrected in Version 6.21 of C51. You may download the latest updates from the Keil Website.
