C251: EMULATOR LOADER PROBLEMS

SYMPTOMS

When I generate BROWSER information in my C251 program, my emulator will not load the resulting absolute OMF251 file. The error message reported indicates that record type 0x60 is invalid.

CAUSE

The OMF251 specification specifically states that unrecognized records should be ignored. The record type 0x60 is used for source browser information and should be ignored by the emulator OMF251 file loader.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, disable source browser record generation for projects you must load into the emulator.
