µVISION: USING PARTS NOT LISTED IN THE DEVICE DATABASE

QUESTION

What can I do if the device I am using is not listed in the device database in µVision?

ANSWER

There are three separate actions you may take:

1. Add a new part to the device database or
2. Select a part that is close in operation and has similar features to the chip you will use or
3. Select a generic part until the chip you use is added to the device database.
