QUESTION

I just downloaded and installed an update and I now receive the following message when I compile:

Warning C500: Missing Device (Security Key Not Found)

Did I do something wrong?

ANSWER

If you are a USA customer...

You may need a new ADD-ON disk to solve this problem. Please contact our technical support department and request a new ADD-ON disk. Be sure to include your serial number as well as your complete mailing address.

If you a customer from outside the USA...

This usually indicates that you forgot to enter the serial number when installing the update. Re-run the setup program and enter your serial number when prompted.
