Information in this article applies to:

  • C51 Version 5.50a
  • C51 Version 6.01

QUESTION

How can I instruct the C51 compiler to produce code for additional hardware components?

ANSWER

The MODDP2 directive instructs the C51 compiler to produce code for the additional hardware components (specifically, the additional CPU data pointers) available in the Dallas 80C320, C520, C530, AMD 80C521, and compatible derivatives.

The NOMODDP2 directive disables generation of code that utilizes the additional CPU data pointers.

MORE INFORMATION

  • Refer to MODDP2 in the Cx51 User's Guide.
