Information in this article applies to:

  • C166 Version 4.03

QUESTION

I'm using a C16x device with FLASH memory. I need to copy program code to RAM for execution when I reload the FLASH. Is there a way to do this?

ANSWER

Yes.

Refer to Application Note 138: In-system FLASH Programming with C16x/ST10 which describes how to do this. Be sure to use the RENAMECLASS directive in your C code that you want to relocate.
