µVISION1: SEEING CLEARCASE DIRECTORIES

QUESTION
We have been trying to get µVision to work with ClearCase directories. We are working on Windows NT 4.0 and using µVision v1.32. When I go to "File" and then "Open" on the menu, I can see the Z drive (which is where ClearCase maps it's file system) but I can't see the directory name. I can see the directory from Microsoft Visual C++, so what is wrong with µVision?
ANSWER
The directory name is greater than eight characters in length and µVision has trouble handling long directory names because it is a 16-bit application.
The solution is to shorten the directory name to eight character or less.
