RVDK-ST Upgrade Overview

Existing users of the ARM RealView Developers Kit for STMicroelectronics (RVDK-ST) can now upgrade to the latest version of RealView Microcontroller Development Kit (MDK). This enables customers to use the significant benefits offered by MDK for users of standard ARM processor-based MCU devices.

RealView MDK

The RealView MDK combines the ARM RealView Compilation tools together with the Keil µVision IDE, Debugger, and Simulator. It is easy to use because it offers all the features required by MCU users. It is targeted specifically at users of standard MCU devices supporting a wide range of MCU devices available from a variety of silicon vendors.

MDK fully supports all STMicroelectronics ARM processor-based devices including STR71x, STR73x, STR75x, and STR9x. This support includes start-up code, flash algorithms, and complete device simulation. More information on the specific devices supported by MDK is available at www.keil.com/dd.

The ULINK2 USB-JTAG Adapter simplifies flash download for all STMicroelectronics devices—support is also included for other third party adapters.

An evaluation version (16K-limited) is available for download.

MDK Upgrade

Users of the RVDK-ST are able to upgrade to the current version of RealView MDK which will include a ULINK2 USB-JTAG Adapter.
