The MCB2387 and MCB2388 Evaluation Boards are new variants of the MCB2300 Evaluation Board, which supports the LPC2300 family of ARM® microcontrollers.

Featuring an LPC2387 or LPC2388 microcontroller, the MCB2387 and MCB2388 include a character LCD display plus a wide range of interfaces such as USB, CAN, Ethernet, SD/MMC cards, and UARTs.

Features

  • LPC2387 or LPC2388 ARM7TDMI® processor-based MCU
  • On-Chip Memory: 512KB Flash and 98KB RAM
  • 2-line by 16-character, 8-bit LCD display
  • 10/100 Ethernet Port
  • USB 2.0 Full Speed Interface supporting USB Device (MCB2387 and MCB2388) and USB OTG/Host (MCB2388 only)
  • Two Serial Ports and two CAN Interfaces
  • SD/MMC Card Interface
  • Potentiometers for analog voltage input
  • Amplifier and Speaker
  • JTAG interface

Software and Examples

The MCB2387 and MCB2388 include an evaluation version of the RealView® Microcontroller Development Kit (MDK) featuring numerous ready-to-run example projects.

The RealView Real-Time Library includes CAN, Flash, TCPnet and USB device examples that run on MCB2387 and MCB2388. Additional RealView Real-Time Library projects are also available to download:

Keil partners such as OnChip Technologies and Thesycon provide USB Host/OTG software for the MCB2388.

A trial version of the OnChip USB host stack that runs on the MCB2388 can be downloaded from www.keil.com/download/docs/375.asp.

A free demo of the Thesycon USB host stack for the MCB2388 will be soon available for download from www.thesycon.de/eng/embusbhost.shtml
