Atmel Wireless & Microcontrollers, formerly TEMIC
Semiconductors, regroups, as in the past, all the activities of the
sites of Heilbronn, Germany (wireless communications, broadcast
media, automotive & wireless control) and Nantes, France
(microcontrollers, FPGA conversion, ASICs & Aerospace), the
offshore operations in the Philippines as well as its worldwide
sales organization.
Atmel Wireless & Microcontrollers intends to pursue and
reinforce its position in the markets where its competencies are
recognized, namely Communications, Automotive, Industrial,
Data-processing, and Aerospace & Defense.
