Keil Announces MCBXC167 Evaluation Boards

Plano, TX: Keil Software is pleased to announce the release of two new evaluation boards, MCBXC167-BASIC and MCBXC167-NET. Each board introduces the Infineon XC16x microcontroller family and allows you to create and test working programs for this advanced architecture.

The MCBXC167-BASIC Evaluation Board contains all hardware components that are required in a XC167 system including 512KByte RAM. It includes two serial ports and support for OCDS Debugging.

MCBXC167-Net Board
MCBXC167-NET Board

The MCBXC167-NET Evaluation Board includes all the features of the MCBXC167-BASIC plus two CAN bus ports, 2 MBytes of on-board Flash, LIN interface, and an Ethernet jack (provided by the ASIX AX88796) for embedded internet applications. The MCBXC167-NET Board is used as reference design for the AR166 Advanced Real-Time OS that supports Embedded Ethernet applications.

The MCBXC167 Evalution Boards provide a capable platform for prototyping your Infineon XC16x projects. Both evaluation boards connect to your PC using either the serial port or the OCDS (On-Chip Debugging System) interface (with the ULINK USB-JTAG Adapter) and allow you to download and test programs using the µVision IDE and Debugger.
