Hello,
I use uVision V3.50 and the evaluation board MCB2300 (Keil) with an LPC2378. I have compiled some of the code examples and was able to download them to flash via JTAG using ULINK adapter. After I had downloaded a selfwritten program, I am not able to download anything anymore. I get a popup saying "No JTAG devices found".
Does anyone have any idea how this can be solved?
You need to erase the device using FlashMagic. Take a look here: http://www.keil.com/support/docs/3315.htm
Thanks for the suggestion, but I have already tried using FlashMagic (3.48.195), even with a brandnew board that just came out of the box, without any result. I have removed jumpers J4 and J13, boot the board, but when I try to read the device signature (with the advanced hardware option 'Use DTR and RTS...' enabled), I get an error saying: Operation failed (reading signature). What is the problem here, and how can it be resolved?
This just works fine here. Are you using FlashMagic 3.50? Is the brand-new board still displaying some text in the LCD display?
- Connection needs to be on COM1 on the MCB23xx. - Cable should be a 1:1 cable connecting to a COM interface of the computer.
Thanks for your fast response. See www.keil.com/.../mcb2300_su_connecting_serial.htm: it says COM0 on MCB2300 should be used! I will try the newest FlashMagic. Stay tuned.
I just discovered that FlashMagic does not work in combination with my Eminent USB/RS232 converter. After connecting my 1:1 RS232 cable to a regular com port on my PC and to COM0 on my MCB2300 board, I got things back to work using FlashMagic.
