Hello, I would like to build a newer version of the GNU toolchain for the ARM processor for use with the Keil uVision debugger. Does anyone know the method used to build the version shipped by Keil. (ie I need to know things like which options to pass to configure etc.) I have tried a few options but don't seem to be able to get the uVision debugger to use the new compiler executables. I am looking for information on how to compile the GNU toolchain for use with uV3. ie. What arguments should I pass to configure (such as --prefix) to correctly compile it. If I use the default cygwin install directory of /usr/local/bin, uVision3 does not seem to be able to find the executables. Can anyone help me convince uVision 3 to use my newly built gcc? Alternatively, can anyone give me an example of the configure command (prior to running make) so that I can build a version of GCC that uV3 will use. Regards, Scott Finneran
