If it meets the project objectives it doesn't matter how slow it is or how much code it takes. If objectives are met we are more concerned with code being documented and maintainable.
I prefer my digital watch to be slow and reliable. I don't want it to be fast and resetting all the time.
But the fact that the OP calls it an "error" suggests that he thinks it doesn't.
But he doesn't say what the "error" is - so it's hard to suggest appropriate solutions.
Well maybe it's a college assignment and the error is part of the project objective. In which case we are obliged to refuse the appropriate solution.
