Hi All. Just a quick note as I experienced an odd problem today and it took a while to fix ... After a day of DK-ARM use, all of a sudden I could no longer download to my MCB2100 via USB ULINK. Basically, all comms via ULINK to the LPC2129 on the MCB2100 failed. I tried the setup on another PC -- same problem. The fix turned out to be to use the Philips LPC2000 Flash Utility to erase and reprogram the device with Blinky.hex. After that, the ULINK worked fine again. I suspect I somehow put the device into some sort of low-power mode (though not intentionally -- I haven't explicitly accessed any of the low-power stuff) which is incompatible with ULINK (as per ULINK docs). Nice to see that the Flash Utility was able to get past this ...
When an ARM processor goes into power-down mode or has wrong initilization, the Embedded ICE may stop working. See also: http://www.keil.com/support/docs/2752.htm You may recover such chips using the Philips ISP program and erase them.
