Lots of errors here. But the main ones are:
1) You have no other option? There are always options. If you don't see any options you aren't looking.
2) RTOS needed for handling an analog joystick? Since when?
On another note - you think the Keil documentation isn't detailed enough? Or you haven't looked for it yet? Or you have looked but didn't find a ready-to-use example program for an analog joystick?
Hi all,
Thanks a lot for your kind support so far...
1.In india, the availability of micro controllers and programmers for the same are limited. My choices are at89c51 and atmega32.
2.for my project i need to control a 4-wheeled probe through RF 434 transmitter and i need to receive data from the probe (Temperature information) through another pair, it need to be integrated. i hope this answers your first question,
3.I necessarily not need a complete program, but a small program(just to control a port) with input and output might be enough. choices for the pin numbers are yours. Im a moderate in embedded sm with no practical experience in RTOS. Any link to video/presentation tutorial would be appreciated.
4.any further info/tips to RTOS would be useful.
Thanks a lot folks.
Have you walked through all the examples on this site?
You only need an RTOS if your teacher have put a requirement that the project must use an RTOS - that kind of project is easy to do with just interrupt handlers and a main loop.
Interrupts can handle communication. Interrupts can handle reading of your sensor (that joystick or whatever you use).
Main loop just make the decisions based on input stimuli and order what output stimuli to apply.
Hi,
Just went through the whole content, seems useful, gotta try tomorrow for sure, And yes, you are right, i have to implement RTOS even though it isnt actually needed. OOPS....
Thanks a lot for the support, ill try my best with this example and will getback for any hickups....
:-)
So you hadn't thought to study the documentation before this?!
