For the moment, I have to add the same books over and over again for every new project I create. I know I could adapt the 'TOOLS.INI' file and add more books to it, but then they would appear in the 'Tools User's Guide' section and I don't think it's a good idea of doing so. I see that there is always a 'standard' of 3 items in the 'Device Data Books' section of a new project. It would be more convenient if one could extend that standard library, so that it becomes available automatically whenever a new project is created. That way, only the 'delta books' (if relevant) have to be added for every new project. Rgds, Geert

Add books that you want to be available for a specific chip into the Device Database. To edit the device database, check the File menu. Take a look at one of the Intel devices and you'll figure out what you should do. The following knowledgebase article: http://www.keil.com/support/docs/1421.htm should answer any additional questions. If you do edit the Device Database, you should be aware that future updates will overwrite your changes. So, you may want to create your OWN PERSONAL Device Database ( http://www.keil.com/support/docs/1645.htm ) which will not be overwritten by future updates. Jon
