Hello, maibe someone tryed to connect LF antenna to mcb1700 board ? (lpc1768) i need some help, i have 125khz antenna but do not know how to connect it to the board.
1 - Look at the compiler optimization settings 2 - Use some glue
look, where i can connect it ? can i connect to CN8 - CN10 ? i must gave voltage and ground ? maibe i must use some new items to connect it ? in that board is no connection to antenna.
What kind of consultant are you, you fool :-0 He must stick it in a RS-485 connector!
thats good , i have one tool with antena connectin via micro usb . 4 pins . white and red wire for LF antenna and black and green for HF antenna ... i just wanted to check , can i connect via usb or not :) thanks for compliment "fool" :)
Actually, I was addressing "Frustrated Consultant" - not you.
A poor one who only ever seems to give free advice :(
can i connect via usb or not
You can connect to it, but the more important question you should ask is whether it's likely to work.
So now it's gone from being just one antenna to two!!
Indeed!!
Might this be an antenna for RFID? In that case, you may also need a 125kHz RF module for producing that 125kHz signal to the antenna.
Or might it be that your "antenna" is a complete module+antenna? In that case, this module must have some interface. But only you would know what module it is, so only you (or the manufacturer) would know if it interfaces on RS-232, USB or is expected to be connected to raw digital signals. And in the last case, if these signals are intended to use 3.3V logic or 5V logic or maybe even something else.
Or an RF module for receiving that 125kHz signal from the antenna;
Or an RF module for both transmitting and receiving - commonly known as a transceiver.
connect LF antenna the catalog has antennas requiring several different kinds of connection.
you need to provide a link to the datasheet for your particular antenna to have any hope of getting an useful answer.
your question is the equibvalent of asking "I need a headlight for my car" withot telling which car it is
Erik
hey erikdo, i need to connect LF 125khz antenna(loop) to mcb1700(lpc1768) tool kit. im searching how i can do that without any troubles.
What parts of our comments didn't you read?
Do you have a transmitter or receiver somewhere?
Where do you insert the CD in your player, if you don't have a CD/DVD/BD reader? Where do you insert the memory card into an old-time chemical camera?
When you connect an antenna to a TV, you do it because the TV has a radio receiver with an antenna input.
Have you found your development board to have a radio receiver or radio transmitter on it? If you have, then you would know if it also have an integrated antenna, or if it has a connector for an external antenna. If it hasn't a radio receiver or transmitter, then it will not have any connector for any antenna, and you must instead figure out how to connect a receiver, transmitter or transceiver to the board.
All of them, apparently!
"Have you found your development board to have a radio receiver or radio transmitter on it?"
And not just any radio receiver/transmitter - you need one specifically designed (and/or adjusted) to your required frequency (125kHz) and whatever modulation scheme you require and all the other details of whatever it is that you're actually trying to achieve.
