Hello , I'm a final year graduate student. I have been given a project to do corner detection and feature extraction of images using at91sam9263 . I would like to know what are the prerequisites for this project ( The software and the resources like ide, libraries required) as I'm new to this embedded world.
Surely, the whole point of a Final Year project is to demonstrate what you have learned during the preceding years of the course? So why are you starting something completely new at this late stage?!
"I'm a final year graduate student"
Do you mean under-graduate?
What course, exactly, are you studying?
"I would like to know what are the prerequisites for this project"
Surely, it is part of your project for you to determine that?
Is this the same project as http://www.keil.com/forum/docs/thread15508.asp ?
Sure hope it's not the same project as:
http://www.keil.com/forum/docs/thread15518.asp
Maybe use a camera to detect the output from 4 7-segment displays and pick up the reading :)
This was probably the intended link: http://www.keil.com/forum/docs/thread15508.asp
I know! I know I know! It is the Perpetual motion controller!!!

"I know! I know I know! It is the Perpetual motion controller!!!"
Just skimmed over that one and (again) just wondered whether it would be worth trying to organise a gathering of all of the posters at some nice English pub some time ???
It is always worth gathering at some nice English pub at any time !!
:-)
I'll have to cross the channel for that! Wow, can you imagine putting Jack Sprat and Cpt. Vince in the same pub, or even worse: Jack Sprat and Erik...!!! A recipe for a bar brawl, if you ask me...
Especially if the perpetual motion controller is the arm swinging the beer ;)
Cpt. Vince would probably stop off at a NATO base and stock up with a peace maker or two.
