HI ALL
need help .any source code to Microcontroller sound record with eeprom memory chip. i know i need mic and spkr on the port pins.
Thank you in advanc
What microcontroller? who? why? what? Please elaborate.
HELLO,
i dont know what microtroller i use yet bcoz i musrt get code working first on computer .if i have code it is easy to copy it to the microcontrooler.
Oh boy! You are in for a big surprise!
Any program that works on your PC will not work the slightest on a microcontroller.
Any program that works with one microcontroller will have a very limited chance to work with a different microcontroller.
Any program that works with a microcontroller will only work if the hardware is connected identical.
Skip the intermediate step - your PC is no good for this task.
Either select a uC and a way of connecting microphone and speaker, and then start from there. Or google for someone who have already done this, and select the same controller and connections as they did. Note that if this is a school work, only the first alternative would be acceptable - teachers are surprisingly good at googling for existing solutions and to recognize if a student has copied someone elses work.
Are you a teacher, Per? :) :)
wont dlls work?
... should stop digging!
"wont dlls work?"
Only on a platform that happens to support them!
seldum, Look, I don't know what your background is, but if you mean what I think you mean you need to understand a couple of things: A microcontroller is not a PC and does not offer the same services as a modern OS such as Windows or Linux etc. unless you work very hard, and even then you are limited by resources and computing power. in other words: forget about dlls. read the documentation of a controller you choose, buy hardware to play with, and learn as much as you can before you even get started. work hard. there are no shortcuts and no dlls.
i can use dlls with linux i think??????
i can use linux on a micoprocessor ..can i????????
so i can use dlls on a micropossersoor. yes?????
i can use linux on a arm prorcessor?????
I never used embedded linux so I don't know for sure, but I don't think so (anybody: am I wrong?). why don't you just go back to basics and try to understand what you need to do first? remember: no magic bullets!
my gp2x is arm and linux and plays sound and has dlls.
so .i think it is good and !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think we have to assume we have one more troller, and ignore this thread.
The alternative - giving all the background needed -would be prohibitively expensive.
Try vista! works great!!!
Having a platform with Linux available isn't the same as having a full set of drivers ported.
And unless a turn-key solution is bought, it will take a lot of knowledge to make use of any embedded Linux on a platform.
Nothing beats knowledge, but people with enough knowledge seldom need to post questions.
i ask my lecteurer and he says my gp2x is a v good answer!!!!!
he knkows more.
THANKS.
