Read-Only Author Fei Huang Posted 12-Jul-2007 11:18 Toolset ARM | Programming Failed! Fei Huang I am using STR750/Keil development kit. The JTAG programmer I am using is ULINK2. uVision3 Ver. 3.0. Today I have problem to download program to the starter kit. It said "Erase Done, Programming Failed!". I've tried two starter kits and same thing happened. Howerever, when I downloaded the program to my custom board, everything is okay. So ULINK2 should work fine. I don't know what happened to the Keil Board. I checked the voltage, it was 3.3V. Anybody here has the clue. Thanks. By the way, I tried to operate the UART, but I could not see the signal out from the port. I wonder whether Keil can provide some example codes. Thanks again. See: http://www.keil.com/support/docs/3255.htm | | Read-Only Author Fei Huang Posted 23-Jul-2007 08:39 Toolset ARM | RE: Programming Failed! Fei Huang The problem is still there. When I click "Flash" manu then click "Erase", it got "Full Chip Erase Failed". When I click "Flash" manu then click "Download", it got "Erase Done" and "Programming Failed". Actually, I have two STR750/Keil evaluation boards. The second one gave me errors of "Programming Failed with too many differences". I wonder what happened to the boards. Keil provides such unreliable board or ST's chip is so vulnerable? | | Read-Only Author Per Westermark Posted 23-Jul-2007 08:56 Toolset ARM | RE: Programming Failed! Per Westermark The manufacturer of a board can not affect how many times you can write to the flash memory of a chip. All the board manufactorer can do is make sure all signals and voltages are within specifications. | |
