Have you tried to read the modem's manual? It will certainly have interfacing procedures, setup commands and a few examples of a communication exchange.
People will help you more effectively if you state what exactly DO you know, and what are the specific areas of difficulty you need help on.
I need help for receive data. I don't know how I receive the data form gsm remote machine. I can use software in C++ plataform? I don't have any example about this. Transmit methods are in the user manual, but the receive method not. In this area I have many dificults. Thanks
Do you mean a "normal" GSM data call (Circuit-Switched Data, CSD), or do you want to use GPRS?
For GPRS you will need an IP stack.
For CSD, a GSM modem is essentially no different from a PSTN modem: you dial the number, it rings, you answer, and then a transparent connection is established until you hang-up the call.
I have the Wavecom kit Q2500. I only want to receive data in my computer, I can use the GPRS, But I don't know how. You have any example about the reception of GPRS data? Thanks.
