Custom Keil C compiler for Philips 51LPC micos

Hi,

Is it true that Keil in conjunction with Philips is working on a tool chain specifically tailored for the Philips low pin 2/4k 51LPC 80c51 derivative.

Please advize

  • It is. In their C51 6.03a the LPC are supported. It is not free of bugs, but it works. I have already tested it for LPC762 and LPC767 - acceptable, even for I2C and ADC support.

  • This is not exactly true.

The standard Keil C51 Compiler supports the Philips LPC devices. We have created a special version of the compiler that Philips provides with their LPC boards. However, this compiler is only a subset of the full toolset.
