Read-Only Author Venkat Pedapati Posted 10-Oct-2006 18:53 GMT Toolset C51 | Getting started with Philips P8WE5033 Venkat Pedapati Hi I am novice to the embedded system programming. I need to implement RSA on the above microcontroller using a special FameX coprocessor present for the very purpose. I am trying to use the keil compiler, linker and simulator but I am not able to contemplate how and where to start. I know I have to write some code in c and some in assembly to get more control over the execution but I am not able to decide what to write in which language and which one to write first. Anybody having some prior experience, please help me. Any small help is appreciated like pointing to some references or sample programs etc. I believe somebody might have already implemented it for this processor. If such code exists in public domain, I can also reuse it. Thanks in advance, venkat. | | Read-Only Author erik malund Posted 10-Oct-2006 19:16 GMT Toolset C51 | Getting started with a discontinued part??? erik malund Getting started with a discontinued part??? WHY? Erik | | Read-Only Author Venkata Rao Pedapati Posted 11-Oct-2006 05:00 GMT Toolset C51 | RE: Getting started with a discontinued part??? Venkata Rao Pedapati Discontinued part? I really don't know that. I was a little bit surprised not finding the chip in the product list of NXP but I could not infer that it's discontinued. Is there a current equivalent part to it - that contains a FameX coprocessor for implementing public key cryptography from philips (now NXP)? Anyway thanks for the information. venkat. | |
