I want the circuit diagram of the ISP cable that works with Atmels "Microcontroller ISP Software".
insted of atmel isp go with asim khan isp. i checked it early and it is ok

there is thousands of posts in various places "why does this homemade Atmel cable that I copied from a tested design not work" and I have yet to see ONE "I copied this design and ir works"
DISREGARD all statements "this design is tested" all of those that have been copied have had the result seen above.
At 8052.com there is a 200+ post discussion " and the conclusion is "can not be done"
Spring for the $25 for the Atmel cable which, in addition to the schermatic, involves the know-how resulting in the chips being in the LPT connector, not wired to some distant board. If you do not, it will cost you far more than $25 in aspirin.
