Hey i am very new to 8051

 Hey i am very new to 8051

hello frens i am very new to 8051 .please suggest me the small scale project that i can undertake in my college workashop .
but it should consist of following things
1. some sensors,adc,dac
2. it should be interfaced with my desktop computer

suggestions r invited

pls also guide me with one small thing i want my end output to be some grapical i.e. contains sm graph so for this i hv to develop a software besides my assembly language programming

hey iam also very new to this 8051 but iam under a training in my company so i think i can help u go for some sample codes such as adc inputs and have theshold value to show some LED outputs

See u can have a automation of lab or something.some small programs which controls the temperature of ur lab use c51 for getting temperature from one analog device via ADC pass it to one Coinstrain so if it above than that constrain go for a pin to low as output using that pin triger switch on the cooler if the temperature is reached means make the pin to default so that the Cooler is switched off first try this by simulator.
this will give the basic idea of c8051 use seperate driver functions for getting values from ADC.
