I have an application that I am converting to run on the ARTX OS and timers 0 and 1 are already heavily taxed. Perhaps it is just a matter of configuring the VIC etc in ARTX_Config.c Thanks Rich

You just have to define the configuration macros to use the RTC. One tick per second is of course too slow to be used as OS tick, so I am assuming that you are not using the RTC for it's intended purpose. I have written a small (<2kB) kernel for ARM which allows you to use any time base you have available. You are welcome to try it if you like - it is absolutely free (and also with absolutely no guarantees)! Sauli
