I downloaded some example code for the LCP11U14. I plan to recompile the examples for the LCP11U24, which is the same part with more space. Unfortunately, the example projects device list is empty. I have the proper device packs installed. I can create new projects, and select the device. I can even open the device pack installer in the old projects. I tried to click the "select software packs..." button from the toolbar, but nothing happens. My guess is that these project were created with a much older version of uVision which isn't being properly updated to the newer version when I open them. I would rather not have to recreate all the project as the linking in them is kind of complicated since they pull in several libs.
Can anyone tell me how to get these projects to populate the device list?
I just figured out the solution. I thought I would post it in case anyone else has this problem. You need to select Project-->Manage-->Migrate to Version 5 Format...
