I am trying to establish a build environment for existing work space. I have HEX file generated from another environment(uVision 3 on windows 10).
I have installed the same tool chain on XP SP3. Built the work space and generated HEX file. The toolchain versions are similar in both environment. The project configurations/options are similar in both environment.
When i compare the two HEX files, i am seeing lot of difference between them. Why? Should not it be same? Since toolchain and project configurations are same. What else is dependency here?
Could someone please clarify.

Similar != Identical Differences in .HEX files will cascaded and compound. Simple comparison probably won't tell you much. Diff the .MAP files to understand the function placement and contributions, by them and library components.

Found that some difference in processor external libraries. That has caused the HEX difference.
