Why doesn't anyone take care go this?
Specifically, it gives:
500 - Internal server error. There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.
"Why doesn't anyone take care go this?" Probably because nobody's noticed.
You know that people seldom bother to search ... ?
:-(
Hello Tamir,
I noticed that and submitted a ticket. We switched to an improved search tool, and updated the page templates for our website, but the forum and a couple other pages did not get updated properly.
As a workaround, you can search on the main page keil.com
I know that is not ideal, but we hope to get this fixed soon.
Best regards,
Kevin
Yes, that does seem to be working.
"We switched to an improved (sic?) search tool"
In what way(s) is it "improved" ?
It doesn't seem to have any of the options from the previous tool to sort or filter the results?
any updates on the progress to fix this ?
Hello,
The Search got updated on the main page keil.com, but a few pages like the keil.com/forum page use a different template so did not get the revised.
The fixes are being test on a development server now.
As a short term workaround, you can still search using the Keil home page.
Thank you for your patience on our growing pains.
Hello All,
The deployed an update. Searching on any Keil.com page should no longer give a error.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Let us know if we accidentally missed anything
Sure, it doesn't give any error - but it also doesn't give any results!!
This is the same whether searching from the Forum, or the Home page.
So it is now actually worse than before!
I would post a screenshot but, you know ...
Hello Andrew,
I am trying to reproduce this issue, perhaps you could create a technical support request so we could dig into this deeper?
- What search term did you use? - Could you try this on your cell phone's browser (to add to the data set). - Could you try to do a full reload of the (shift+F5) of the webpage to make sure you browser is not using any out of date scripts? - Are you blocking any scripts? Add blockers?
It seems to be giving results now.
But, as previously noted, it doesn't seem to have any of the options from the previous tool to sort or filter the results?
Search yields no results at all - yet again !
Same here, too.
developer.arm.com/keil-search
And will Keil ever get around to making the forum recognise HTTPS ?
