Hello All, I am beginner with keil, ARM. I am using STM32 microcontroller. So when I started my research on list of all available things there are many options avilable. I would like to know which is the most popular, easy tool.
For programming C language, ARM microcontroller, is keil the best tool or visual studio GDB? Which tool I need to use? Does it matter ?
... until you define the specific criteria by which you will measure it.
Before posting on any internet forum, it's important to understand the scope of the forum. In the case of this forum:
"The Keil Discussion Forum is an open forum where you may post questions and comments about Keil products" http://www.keil.com/forum/
So not really the place to discuss competing products!
Note that Keil is a commercial product - ie, you have to pay for it.
There is a free Lite version - with limitations: www.keil.com/.../limits.asp
There is also a free version specifically for STM32F0 and STM32L0: www2.keil.com/.../mdk
