I am new to STM32 and I have just started using discovery kit STM32F411 with MDK-ARM5. I compile my code and it compiles fine but when I uload it into the MCU, the code does not work what it is supposed to. However, if I load the hex file generated by keil for the same project using ST-Link utility the controller works fine. Am I doing something wrong. I tried changing the devices in the keil by using different variants of F411 boards but still no success. Any kind of help in this regard in much appreciated.

Use the debugger to understand what the processor is doing with your code. Uncheck "run to main" if it isn't getting to main()
The Hex file is created from the AXF file.
Are you sure that the "non-working" hex file is actually from the "working" AXF ... ?
