Where in the processor take the time to calculate the electrical energy?

The electrical energy is equal to the product of the current by the voltage and for a time. Where in the processor take the time to calculate the electrical energy, while writing the program?
I ask you to send an example of the program where the electrical energy of the Teridian 71M6541FT processor is calculated.

  • You'll need to measure current externally.

For time you might want to use an internal timer, but I suspect the static current draw over an extended period might be easier to read off the current meter of the power supply in human terms.

The program could be a tight loop doing math for all the processor cares. If you want worse case currents from peripherals, you'd want to configure them in some maximal state, clocking as vigorously as possible.
