Flash Magic and P89C669

Read-Only Author Max Veen Posted 24-Feb-2005 10:34 GMT Toolset C51	Flash Magic and P89C669 Max Veen Hi everyone, Does anyone has experience with the phyCORE 8xC51-Mx2 developmentboard + phyCORE controller module occupied with the P89C669 controller and the Flash Magic tool? The phyCORE controller module uses a 24 Mhz crystal. I have checked all jumper settings on the dev board and phyCORE module as well necessary for the P89C669, but Flash Magic cannot establish serial communcation. I use Keil demo version 7 on the PC. Else I use COM1 on the host PC and serial port1 (P1A) on the developoment board. I have used several baudrates, but with no success. I got the messages: "Attempting to connect..." Then the serial connection fails. and "Try to reset the device in ISP mode". Anybody knows what's going on? Any help I would appreciate! Thanks, Max Veen
