The uVision Getting Started Guide has a whole chapter on it - complete with example! But before you get into the details of multitasking, have you done the groundwork on thoroughly familiarising yourself the the 8051 and the Keil tools? You should start by reading the whole of the uVision Getting Started guide, and working through the example projects in it. You need to begin with the basics before jumping into the complexites of RTX. Are you confident that your hardware is working, and that you can build, download, and run anything at all? There is no point going any further until you're sure that you've got the basics working!

Good - so now we can have at least some degree of confidence that your build process works, your downloading works, and your target works. It is impossible to answer that from the information you have given - ie, virtually none at all! * Are you sure that this particular example should work on your hardware? * Are you sure that the build completes fully & successfully - do you get any error or warning messages? * Are you sure that the download succeeds? * What do you expect should happen when the download completes? * What actually does happen? Have you spoken to your tutors about this? They are in a far better position to help you than complete strangers far away who don't even share your first language!

You said you're new - so what's the point in starting with such an ancient museum piece?! Take a look through recent threads and see the problems some people have getting even v5 to work on modern systems - imagine what it'd be like with something as old as v2. Might not even work on Win3.1?! ;-)
