Is there any way to compile and download an application without the debugger present. I don't need the debug features, and just want to compile, load, and run the application.

Then just compile,burn EPROM or FLASH on your board and run...I don't see where's the problem?

Are you creating a HEX file? Look at your Output Tab for the check box. The Hex file does not contain Debug info. As pointed out in this thread, the Debugger is not require to download, however, the Debugger will support a number of Flash Utilities to support download from the Debugger. You can go to the Infineon web site for additional stand alone Flash utiites.
