I'm trying to use my ULink box with uVision V4.71.2.0 but when I click the 'Settings' button I get an Error dialog that says:
Error: Cannot load 'C:\KEIL\ARM\ULP2ARM.DLL'
Possible Reasons:
- Driver DLL could not be found in the specified path
- Driver DLL requires additional DLL's which are not installed
- Required Hardware Drivers are not installed
I've checked and the DLL is there, so it's not the first suggestion. I've tried reinstalling the driver a Windows is happy, so where do I go next?
Isn't it normally in \KEIL\ARM\BIN, presumably you could copy it up a directory but it does seem odd.
Sorry, I had to re-type the error box text and clearly got it wrong. It does specify bin.
Can't say I've been seeing a problem with 4.70(a), but they did claim it needed a firmware update, and then wouldn't be backward compatible with earlier releases. There should be some tools under \Keil\ARM\ULINK I've been using mostly ULink2 and ULinkME devices, under Win7 x64
Other than that, consider the version of Windows (8?), if there are some driver issues under device manager (unsigned?), or if admin rights are playing an issue.
Well this is on good old XP, and it's a ULink, not ULink2/ULink Pro/ULink ME. I have a horrible suspicion that I'm going to have to upgrade something.
