file handling in LPC2468 usb host

Hello Tsuneo sir,

I am working on USB host on LPC2468 .I am using FAT32 file system. I am facing a problem
that when i try to create 6 files with RTC date and time append to it.it creates 5 files on pendrive.but when i remove date and time from 6th file name it creates 6 files.

When I debug through the program software is working properly

What,s the reason behind it

Why not a link to the previous thread - or why a new thread. Because you thought it clever with "USB Host" as title for the previous thread?

What does this have with USB host to do?

What debugging have you done?

What file system are you using?

How is the file system configured?

What does your code look like?

What does your file names looks like with - or without - any clock stamp appended to the names?

Do you think people who you want help from have direct access to your computer?

What does "When I debug through the program software is working properly" actually mean?

Have you attemted to see if there are any error messages generated somewhere?

Exactly what have you done, besides creating threads with extremely little information?

1) What other thread? Yes, I do know there is another thread. But "internet" doesn't know. You have created a new thread without creating any cross-linking between them. How will a visitor who stumbles into this thread know about the existence of another thread. How will a visitor who stumbles into the other thread know about this thread?

And exactly how did you think a new thread would help you?

2) No - you have not sent "all the information" in your previous thread. In fact, you have hardly answered any information at all with the exception that you do show some lines of source code. Your code doesn't even inform you about what return values you get from the different function calls - how will you then know if they give a specific error value that tells you what is wrong?

You make it sound like you are paying for support and are unhappy that you don't get the support you pay for. This is an end-user forum. You can't demand that people should care about your problems. But spending time to actually answer questions do affect the probability that someone will care to help you.
